Patricia’s Journey

Roots and Early Inspirations

My name is Patricia Chavez Vasquez. I was born in Lima, Peru, and left my homeland in 2004 seeking new horizons across Europe. Since childhood, I’ve been deeply drawn to traditional craftsmanship and have always had a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

Following My True Calling

With a PhD in chemistry and a research career in European institutions, I eventually chose to follow my passion: to create something meaningful, highlight the ancestral skills of my culture, and build a brand that reflects my values and heritage.

Building a Life and a Brand

I’ve lived in Peru, Spain, Japan, and now France, where I built my family and launched Zia’s Beauties. This multicultural journey taught me how to bridge traditions and global trends, cultures and emotions.

The Birth of Zia’s Beauties

Zia’s Beauties was born from a dream: to offer luxury products filled with story, culture, and soul. I wanted to live off my creativity, build an international brand, and generate positive impact by connecting Peruvian artisans with the world.

The name Zia is a tribute to a powerful Incan character from my childhood — from the series The Mysterious Cities of Gold. Zia symbolizes ancestral memory, resilience, and the power of feminine energy. Through her, I honor indigenous women, Andean children, and the invisible beauty of my homeland.
